i do plan on adding a way to weight scheduling.. its just not there yet. i've had the same issues you've experienced and my short term solution was to only group shows with lesser episodes with other shows with lesser episodes. Ideally i'd like to add something to choose custom weightings or just weight by episode count.. so if you had 2 shows(A and B) with 100 episodes each and then 1 show (C) with 10 episodes each.. u'd have a 1/21 chance to see C and 10/21 chance to see A and 10/21 chance to see B
currently shows are scheduled currently however it is set via the web ui. between [min] and [max] episodes blocks.. and will just rotate between all the shows
my current priority is working on a backend server to allow multiple clients to stay syncd.. so any updates you'll see in the near future are bug fixes or minor changes to improve UX until the server stuff is done

Gmmp classic has not been supported for a few years now so there is no guarantee things will work on newer devices. Update to gmmp 3.4.x or newer

there is not. gmmp was originally developed for large collections and those users tend to not care about artwork for single tracks. here is the request tho: trello.com/c/D8fMtnXx

i dont use youtube music so i cant say for sure.. but i highly doubt anything downloaded with youtube music is made visible to other apps. Back in the day of google music, they used to download to a private location without any metadata in the tags nor extension to indicate they were music files, so it wouldnt useable without a significant amount of manual effort

details views are shared and the art is intentionally reset so when you go into a new artist it shows correctly. also it gets set to show / not show based off the art setting when the view is opened

I think I've figured out what might cause it. If you have a really long list of albums and you have the artist art enabled I think this is what happens. As you scroll the albums, the artist art "minimises" and just shows the artist name which makes sense as it gives more space to the list. If you select an album towards the bottom of the list and then go back, the artist art shows the picture again and I think this pushes the list down slightly so you can't sometimes see the album you pressed. yeah that would make sense. You can choose to hide the art in those views. I also have plans for 3.5 (may slip to 3.6) to do a new "header" for the details view that doesnt take up as much space

"If the album files are in different folders or you adding extra files to an existing album: Make sure Advanced Scanner Settings - MultiFolder Albums is turned on Make sure not only the albumartist and album tags are identical, also make sure the year tag is identical. All 3 are used by the scanner to group albums in multiple folders."
This means you must have all 3 tags. If you are missing the albumartist tag it wont find the existing album. If its not being grouped with the existing album than that means those 3 are not matching (whether it visually looks like they are the same.. text in software can have hidden characters and other things that make them different). The database query to find the album uses all 3 of those fields and returns the resulting albums
Its why i always recommend making sure the entire album is tagged using the same tool (like mp3tag) at the same time

sounds like your content is not tagged correctly. album artist tag has been supported since the app came out in 2011. Your files need to follow the tag specifications www.mp3tag.de/en/picard.musicbrainz.org/

exit shuts down the music service and calls terminate on the all. Any relaunching is being done by the operating system.. nothing i can really do about that. I know android did change some things in either 13 or 14 that it caches / hibernates apps instead of fully existing them even if the app itself tells it to shutdown. Unfortunately nothing i can do about that. You can disable the auto play on BT connections in the settings tho

using the list with art still gives me the same behavior but glad you got it working.
The one thing i could think of is if you are in the album details screen and end up putting the screen in the background for awhile.. go back to the app and then try to back out.. i could maybe see if the OS was killing and restoring the app that maybe some of the positioning gets lost

no i would guess whatever you are using to transfer the files to your device are modifying the tags or you are not correctly tagging them with mp3tag. Play one of the songs with an issue and click the song info button in now playing.. it lists the tags read straight from the file. GMMP uses taglib taglib.org/ and whatever mp3tag reads / writes, so can taglib

copy the file to a different location.. if you straight up replace the file it is likely viewing a cached copy, or just be sure the "last modified time" of the file is different. Thats what gmmp looks at to determine if a file has changed
