haha no prob. the bug fixed in 3.3.3 was a specific case where the artist image was in one of the album folders (instead of the parent). artist.png or [actual artistname].png in an album folder will get picked up for artist art now

Latest Update broke Custom Metadata. Can't nothing edit to my needs. I don't use the .json file. Still works for me? The list of lines doesn't refresh until you add a line, but any changes are kept when I click save This changed between 3.3.3 and 3.3.4? There were no changes anywhere close to that area so it was likely the broke before the latest update

My bad. Forgot to add a line. Then the first line appears. Sorry.
Btw., why isn't it possible to edit a saved custom metadata? I always need to start from scratch to edit some (small) things.

I always need to start from scratch to edit some (small) things. i marked the issue on my bug list so it'll be fixed in 3.3.5 You cannot edit saved custom metadata because the editor does not support everything that is possible to do via json. The metadata editor was coded in a few hours and thrown in ASAP due to the backlash of people who didnt want to have to deal with json in order to customize the metadata (even tho its insanely simple unless you are looking to add complex logic that was not available in gmmp 2.x) trello.com/c/wUSxJ1Bc

In 3.4 the progressbar on the home screen sometimes stops working: This happened 2 times already over a span of 8 songs. In this case the progressbar in the notification is perfectly working.
Play/Pause doesn't fix this, I have to kill GMMP for it to resume. I have excluded GMMP from Samsungs battery optimizations.
Unfortunally, I have no idea how to reproduce this as currently it's running fine for the last few songs.
Oh, and another thing: the notification still isn't updating on every song.
I sent you an error report through the app. If there is a way to get logfiles, I can try to provide them.

how long ago have you done a fresh clean scan of you library? There was a bug that was fixed in 3.1.3 where duration was read as 0 from the tags (if that happens now it uses the bitrate and filesize to guess the duration of the file). The progress bar wont update if the duration is 0
as for the notification. i still have no idea why it doesnt update and blame it on samsung. GMMP sends not just one update on the playing info.. but 2 updates (the same update sent when manually playihg/pausing). There is no reason it shouldnt update

I'm going to try rewriting the metadata / progress updater to simplify things. Samsung devices are clearly doing something behind the scenes that can't handle how it's being updated currently (only update things that change vs rewriting everything)

Can't you check this from the error report that I sent you? It should include the database. All my 9735 songs are in the library and all 10 tracks from the album from the screenshot do have a valid length in the library view.
As I said, if I kill GMMP and reopen it, the progress bar is working for the same file.
