no plans at this time. too much existing work on the backlog I would like to suggest that you might want to add android auto to your backlog. Chevy has just released a free update to most of it's 2016 vehicles to support android auto (including mine). Ford is not far behind and I understand that 8 other auto makers have also introduced it. It looks like android auto might finally take off this year. Using android auto, which is *very* handy for maps makes using gmmp less than convenient since the cars controls which would normally work via bluetooth to control playback are assigned to android auto use instead. I hate the idea of having to switch to another music player! --Brad

Auto isnt something i can consider until that is done. I'm sure i'll eventually add support but if this is something you are looking for in the immediate future. its just not going to happen. If it becomes a frequent request i'd start bumping its priority trello.com/c/anCgahkL

pretty sure if you enable full auto access in the gmmp settings it will let you select playlists. Select a playlist to play and then you can turn on shuffle

But always plays the playlist in order. By turn on shuffle you mean on the smartphone, right? That's usually a bad idea during driving (in most countries) What I'd love to have is either: shuffle them by default in android auto or have a shuffle button.

auto has a shuffle button for gmmp (its in landscape only since portrait only gives you 3 buttons)
