First off let me say real quick - thanks for finally giving me a better alternative to PlayerPro. I usually manage to find something to hate about most player apps in minutes and I haven't found anything with yours, and I'm a picky, petty bastard. Really great program.
Anyway, I just have a quick one for the widgets, if you're planning any modifications there. Any chance we could configure them to not have any function buttons displayed, and have an extra line of text instead? I'd prefer to have the widget serve as a status bar / shortcut to the player.

Please, allow a home screen shortcut to play a playlist, with an option to play it in a randomized order each time (for pop music), or always straight forward (for classical music, maybe shuffling albums but playing all movements/files of each piece/album in the proper order) Thanks!

GMMP supports playing a playlist that was opened externally

How do I run a Smart Playlist from a shortcut? Maybe with Tasker create a shortcut to /storage/gmmp/smart/nameofplaylist.spl GMMP should recognize the spl file and play it (spl is the extension used for smart playlists)
