I am writing this in the spirit of feedback since I otherwise love the app.
I HATE the new UI!!!! I cant imagine why you changed it or what the perceived improvement is.
The old one was so easy and seamless to customize, and easily transition between library modes, now playing mode, search mode, equalizer, playlists...this one is very difficult to navigate. I also think the new color scheme and command layout just looks terrible. Sorry because I am sure you worked hard on it..
I saw in another post the following directions:
Use a holo theme. Prefs -> UI -> Theme Builder -> Load Template. Select holo dark and then choose a color
Thanks goodness! Just another fyi - when I select Settings > UI, the words "Theme Builder" and "Load Template" completely overlap. At first I couldnt even find the Load Template command.

if you follow my development at all, it should be apparent i never like to remove features.. so yea everything is still available. The material theme look and and navigation style is what people demanded, so thats why it was done.
What phone do you have and can you send a screenshot? I've tested on 15-20 devices and never had any issues with any overlapping

I had to "Exit" the application through the settings/menu button and then restart. That cleared up the overlapping.

The at&t website says their version of the s4 is on kitkat (4.4). You should look into updating because 4.2 and 4.3 have a good share of issues and are not well supported and apps arent usuall well tested on either due to the small % of devices that actually run 4.2/4.3
