Greetings,
I've been using GoneMAD for my default audio player when I connect to my car via BT. Everything works OK, music plays, I can start and stop the music with the car's BT play/pause buttons. However, the the car's console screen does not indicate the current song's elapsed time. I am not a BT expert but I'm learning. Does GoneMAD support the elapsed time indicator over BT? Is this something that requires special handling in a music app?
Thanks

Music players do not send lines of text to the receiver, but instead fill out all the metadata and the receiver is in charge of displaying that metadata however it sees fit

So, the question must then become, what metadata does GoneMAD update? The reason I ask is because the other two players on my phone continuously update these data but GoneMAD does not.
To be clear, I'm talking about a 'time line' drawn on the console screen. This line represents where in the current song the player is playing from.
Thanks

it updates track no, disc no, playback state, duration, album, albumartist, artist, title, genre, and album art. In 4.3 and higher it also updates the playback position and playback speed (its limited to 4.3+ due to the api only being added in 4.3 developer.android.com/reference/android/media/RemoteControlClient.html#setPlaybackState(int, long, float) )

I have 4.4.2 which means this should work. I guess I'll need to look closer at the Tasker part of this.
Thanks for your response!

I can echo that elapsed time does not display with GMMP (lollipop) on Ford sync, though it can be seen in other apps such as Spotify.
