One of the primary reasons I started tinkering with GMMP is because I saw that it had the ability to play a Random Album. In my mind I translated this into meaning it could "shuffle by album". It appears I was mistaken.
I assumed that after I created a queue of songs, that I could long-press the shuffle button, and that it would pick an album from the queue and start playing it. Instead it seems to pick a random album from the collection, and when it is done with that album it stops.
What I really want is a "shuffle by album" feature. where it shuffles up the queue, but plays a whole album at a time. Does this feature already exist, or should I add this as a feature request?
TIA

TIA not sure how you thought the queue was related to album shuffle at all.. nothing in the app implied that at all. long press of shuffle button simply plays a random album from your collection. The queue has no concept of album/folder/artist.. its just a list of songs Now if you use the "on queue completion" -> play random album preference.. it will pick a random album at the end of the queue and play that.. that kind of sounds like the behavior you want. I do plan on adding an official "album shuffle" option at some point but for now the on queue completion setting is the closest to that
