So the song ratings thing blew up on me in exasperating fashion. I'll spare you the gory details but I went back and built static playlists (hand curated over 4,000 songs - ugh)
How do I set the path of these playlists (m3u) so that GoneMad will be able to read them.
On my computer here is how the path reads on one of the folders : Computer\SGH-T889\Card\Music\mp3\Pop Compilations\70s 80s 90s\1990s

On my computer here is how the path reads on one of the folders : Computer\SGH-T889\Card\Music\mp3\Pop Compilations\70s 80s 90s\1990s Go to prefs -> scanner -> open scanner -> edit scan paths. The list should show the location of either your sdcard or your music folder. If you replace the paths in the playlist files you will end up with something like this: lets say your music folder in gmmp is /storage/extSdCard/Music, the location above would need to be changed to /storage/extSdCard/Music/mp3/Pop Compilations/70s 80s 90s/1990s Note: either / or \ can be used, gmmp will translate \ to /

here's my path - not working - feel like I might need a period in front or something? \storage\extSdCard\Music\MP3\Pop Compilations\1 Billboard Top 100\70s 80s 90s\1970S\1972 a period on a file system means the current directory.. double period is parent directory.. so that would not do anything. email me your database... its under prefs -> general. I can take a look to see how music is stored in the database
