Right now I have the buffering in minimum, decoding in very high, play back thread in very high and it sounds way better than the default settings but what about the preload thread. This one seems to be tricky to choose i changed it a lot but i still dont know wich one of the settings would give the best sound quality. Using Gone Mad Music Player in Galaxy S3 i747(Us Version Quallcom chip not the Wolfson Chip).

This one seems to be tricky to choose i changed it a lot but i still dont know wich one of the settings would give the best sound quality. Using Gone Mad Music Player in Galaxy S3 i747(Us Version Quallcom chip not the Wolfson Chip). those playback settings do not affect the quality at all and should be left at the defaults unless you experience stuttering / skipping (only an issue with old devices or if the very high eq seting is used.. which isnt recommended anyway since the default quality is still very good) buffering affects the responsiveness of track changes, the smaller the buffer, the quicker it will change to the next song. The priorities basically tell the CPU to dedicate more cpu time to the decoding or playback process if it cannot keep up. Setting it too high can potentially have negative effects (like GMMP using 100% cpu and not letting the android OS have any CPU time) The only quality setting to really mess with is the equalizer quality. Setting that higher does improve the EQ algorithm, but the trade off is using more CPU and more battery
