I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 phone and store my music on an external SD card. Recently some other apps exhausted all off my USB storage and I had to format it. The next time I used GMMP I noticed that my Smart Playlists and Equalisers were missing. IT would seem that these are stored in the USB storage and not on the external SD card. Is this correct? Is there a way to store them on the external SD card instead to prevent future loss.

GMMP stores the eq and smart playlists in whatever location developer.android.com/reference/android/os/Environment.html#getExternalStorageDirectory%28%29 returns which is typically /storage/gmmp or /sdcard/gmmp. At some point i might be able to make those locations configurable but since there is no standard on the location the external sdcard gets mounted and the fact that most newer phones dont have external sdcard slots.. its not something that could be done automatically. I recommend just backing up the GMMP folder in the future before wiping the phone. eq presets should be in gmmp/eq and smart playlists i think are under gmmp/smart btw i read your reddit post earlier today or if its not you someone else has a galaxy ace 2 with "usb storage always full"

The USB storage is the device's USB storage and appears to be ditinct from the Device Memory. It can be cleared by Setting > Storage > Format USB Storage (Should that help the reddit post user - it's not me) I have moved GMMP to the SD card with my application manager and still I find GMMP on my phone in: GT-I8160\Phone\gmmp I don't see another gmmp directory on my SD card It also says that the App is using 5MB USB storage. Its not a big deal, I'll just backup gmmp to my PC should I need to reset the USB storage again. Thanks for a great App

Thanks for a great App the gmmp folder should be on whatever your primary storage is moving the app to the sdcard only moves some internal assets that the app uses like the icons/images. The database stays in the system partition and /gmmp stays in the primary storage
