Sorry if this has already been posted somewhere, but I couldn't find an answer. While playing music, GMMP always pops up to the front after unlocking the phone, and this can be prevented by using the back key to drop out of the app before locking the phone. Is there any way to stop if from appearing at all as an option?

Is there any way to stop if from appearing at all as an option? not sure what you are asking.. if you dont want it to appear at all you either dont use the GMMP lockscreen, or as you mentioned back out of the app before locking. If you dont back out of the app, the app takes focus once the GMMP lockscreen appears because the lockscreen is just another activity belonging to the app (that happens to have a property set to show over top of the lockscreen). To further explain.. lets say you have 3 apps open: GMMP, app A and app B You open GMMP but do not back out, then you open A, then B. The "stack" is in this order: GMMP -> A -> B with B being on top. When the lockscreen shows, android makes the stack look like this A -> B -> GMMP (Main UI -> Lockscreen). When you close the lockscreen, the main ui is still left so it shows If you back out of GMMP, the stack is A -> B. When the lockscreen shows its A -> B -> GMMP (lockscreen). Once you close the lockscreen, all thats left is A -> B

I've tried playing with the options, and it's just not clear to me how to set GMMP to display the GMMP lockscreen (which is great) when locked, but when I unlock it to have my homescreen displayed without having to back out of the app.

Okay, that wasn't clear to me. I think you should add that as an option. It would also be nice if there were a space for a larger clock and the date.

To further explain.. lets say you have 3 apps open: GMMP, app A and app B You open GMMP but do not back out, then you open A, then B. The "stack" is in this order: GMMP -> A -> B with B being on top. i actually just thought of a decent analogy. On your computer, most internet browsers contain tabs. Consider each browser its own app.. so on your desktop you have Chrome, Firefox, and IE. Lets say chrome represents GMMP. You open chrome and the GMMP tab opens up.. this is the main player.. you then open firefox and IE. You minimize all 3. Now when the "lockscreen" is displayed.. it adds a lockscreen tab to chrome and maximizes chrome. When you X out of the lockscreen tab, the original GMMP tab is still there because chrome is still in focus. If you had closed out of chrome before launching the lockscreen, the GMMP tab would be gone and exiting the lockscreen tab would close out chrome
