Hi,
first I want to praise the very clear and logical layout of the GMMP interface (installed v1.5.0.3 yesterday, my first GMMP installation),
this is very very appealing to me.
now here are some things I would suggest to improve in the "effects" menu (I have german version):
(the menu on the most right upper tab, maybe should better be called "audio" like in the main menu or "sound", because its not just effects ...)
>>>
EQ, mono, limiter, bass boost and pitch correction have ON/OFF buttons which I find very good;
tempo and virtualizer dont have these buttons, it would be more practical and logic if they also have these ON/OFF buttons.
>>>
EQ, balance, tempo and virtualizer can be edited with the "pen" symbol, which is very practical;
limiter and bass boost cant be set from here, instead you have to go to the main menu.
>>>
EQ, balance, tempo and virtualizer show their actual setting in this menu;
limiter and bass boost dont; would be better if they also show their actual setting here,
so you could see the complete sound setup at a glance.
finally, what would be an absolute killer feature to me (and could probably be realized very easy):
if the user presets dont cover just the EQ setting,
but instead of that the complete sound setup,
including balance, mono, limiter, bass boost and virtualizer.
that would be absolutely fantastic!
for example, I am using a music player most of the time with headphones, but sometimes also with active desktop monitors,
which need a completely different setup soundwise. so that could be done just recalling a preset, and everything is perfect!
well, so far, I will keep on testing, and let you know .....
have a nice day!
>>>ps: I am absolutely not a programmer and therefore cant help anything here,
but if you need some help of the german version, let me know!
