But where is the GMMP option to change to another UI language? I can't see it in any place.
Thanks, and kind regards.
Joan

There is none. Android apps language are based on the language you have your phone/device set for. If there is no translation it will use the default language. In gmmp, english is the default.
The android sdk does not provide a way for the user to select language other than change the device language

There are some Android apps out there providing an in-app option to change language, e. g. AndroiTS GPS Test but also others. So, there must be a way. Not wanting it, just clarifying.^^

Old thread but I have the same issue. Where is the option to change the language? I can't find it anywhere. Many apps have an option where "system language" or "automatic" is default but you can choose any one you like in the options. PowerAMP, MX Player, ES File Explorer, Dolphin browser just to name the ones I use most. It's a very common setting in lots of apps.
I could have sworn I've used GMMP before in English while having a different system language. Weird <_<

there is no way to change the language. google does not provide any api that allows developers to choose what language is displayed. All we can do is provide all the translations and then it will pick the system language translation if there is one. You listed a few apps but it is not common at all. If google ever provides the ability to do it without a hack (which is the only known method), I will add it, otherwise you will have to deal with whatever system language your phone is set to.

I don't know how I did it but my app is English and my system language is Dutch. And that's exactly how I want it. I have done some testing with setting my system language to English, but then my navigation software speaks English too. For some reason GoneMAD is still English after switching back to Dutch.

I have some Korean songs but titles are not being displayed correctly. Is this the same issue? no. that is because your tags are not encoded correctly. gmmp (and the id3 spec) only support latin and unicode/utf8 text encodings
