For some weeks I had a problem: gonemad crashed when I loaded a smart playlist. I could look at the list and start the whole list by selecting one of the songs so it doesn't bothered me much. But today gonemad crashed after I tried the workaround and persisted to crash even after a reboot. I installed the newest version from the playstore but nothing changed. I assume there's a problem with some initializiation files but I don't want to de- and reinstall because then I would loose all my ratings?! What can I do?
P.S.: I sent several times a crash-report!

I dont have any crash reports for 1.4.16.2 related to the smart playlists. The bug was there in 16.1 and i'll get reports for that. .but nothing for 16.2
Are you sure you are fully up to date?

I was in the play store for the newest version 14 hours ago. To clarify: I don't know if the crashes are related to the smart playlist: gonemad crashes now right at the beginning without showing any of the UI. Before that I loaded another smart playlist and did this by looking at it and playing the first entry. This did not function - nothing was played. I tried a second time and gonemad crashed. Till that gonemad crashes every time I try to start it, before it even comes to show any element of the UI. I will sign my crsah-reports with TH.

alright i got that report.. it looks like your settings file got messed up somehow
java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: length=681; index=-98 at java.util.ArrayList.remove(ArrayList.java:401) at gonemad.gmmp.util.NoRepeatGenerator.remove(NoRepeatGenerator.java:74)
it thinks the playlist position is at -98.. which well is not possible.. i can put in a check for negative positions and just set it to 0
im trying to do a minor update tonight for android 4.3 but google really screwed up the development tools in their latest so its making it difficult

you would have to basically clear the data.. the playlist index is stored in the preference file. I just pushed a new update so if you can wait an hour or 2 that should fix the issue
