When using an external method to skip tracks (eg: bluetooth keyboard), the queue screen doesn't keep focus/refocus on the currently playing track.
I was listening to a track that was at the bottom of the queue list (but not the last track of the queue). I clicked NEXT and the next track played, but the queue screen didn't move (down), so I couldn't see what the selected track was. I was able to move the queue up/down with a swipe gesture. And when I did, it showed the track correctly highlighted (as it does for any track that is currently being played).
Could you please add the option for the queue screen to keep focus on the current playing track, so that if the next (or next +1, or +2) track is the last one on the screen, the queue scrolls down a little bit. And similar for moving back upwards, although I'm sure upwards occurs a lots less frequently. Thanks.

are you talking about the positioning of the list?

If by positioning you mean, what part of the queue is displayed on the screen, then yes.
Example: I have a queue of 100 songs,. Only 10 are shown on the screen at any time, and the queue list can be dragged up and down to view all the tracks.
If I start playing track 1, the queue will show tracks 1-10 and track 1 will be highlighted. When it plays and finishes track 10, (I imagine) it simply highlights track 11 which is off the screen, rather than repositioning the list so the now playing track is visible.

Thanks. This will also help out when it comes to the tablet UI upgrades IMHO.

okay so i remembered why i never did this in the first place. It absolutely drove me crazy when other players. or just apps in general would refresh / reposition lists while i was scrolling them... if you happen to be scrolling the list while a track changes.. it would reset your view... so if i can find a way to detect when scrolling is happening i can reposition it
just an fyi.. if you tap the queue tab at the top it will realign the view so your currently playing song is at the top

Hah. Fair enough. Yea, this has happened to me too (using other programs). Reposition-list was an option in the other program - could be turned on or off. I got around the issue by pausing the song I'm on (if there was only a few seconds left), just while I do the scrolling. I do agree with it being annoying, but I found the benefit of reposition-scrolling to outweight the few times that it (really) annoyed me. Your solution would be the best of both worlds however! Yep, I do know about tapping the queue tab.
