Lock Screen Control Issue

My GoneMad Media Player lock screen control setting works very well. It displays the album art, the shuffle and repeat buttons, and the other controls as soon as I turn it on, and I couldn't be happier. What bothers me is how it behaves when I try to unlock it.
With a headset plugged in, pressing the unlock button brings me to my unlock screen exactly as it normally is.
With no headset plugged in and headset controls (you know, the little button thing on some headsets that lets you play/pause with a single button press) disabled in the GMMP preferences, pressing the unlock button brings me to my unlock screen with the time widget and the alarm clock set notification exactly as it should be.
With no headset plugged in and headset controls enabled in the GMMP preferences, pressing the unlock button takes me to my unlock screen with an ugly black box where my time widget should be. The box has three buttons and displays the name of the song playing.
I thought at first that this might be a feature with a setting somewhere, but I can't really think of a reason to have a lock screen widget followed by another, worse lockscreen widget with less features than the first that only appears with no headphones in. Please help.

Never mind, I figured it out. The problem was that I needed to disable the ICS lockscreen control.
