Hi. Im new to GMMP and evaluating it compared to another player. There are some things I really like about it, but here are a couple of the things I havent been able to figure out and would like to be able to do:
1. I synch using WMP. With an app like PlayerPro, WMP automatically synchs playlists in a format the app can read. This isnt the case with GMMP. Do I need to manually copy my playlist files onto a folder somewhere? Is there anyway to auto synch my playlists from WMP and have GMMP recognize them?
2. Sometimes I want to go into the Song tab, manually pick a song to play, but then have the player continue to play other songs when the selected song is over (as opposed to just stopping). I have been able to set this in other apps but havent figured out how to do it in GMMP. Can it be done?
3. I havent found any Movement controls in the GMMP menus...like turn the phone over to mute, etc. Is this something thats possible?

1) GMMP supports pls, m3u, m3u8 and wpl. WMP i believe exports in wpl (it stands for windows media player playlist).
I do not know what location on your device those playlists sync too.. but gmmp will pick up anything thats in a folder the scanner sees. Prefs -> Scanner -> Open Scanner -> Edit Scan Paths. Assuming the playlist files are sent to a folder or subfolder of one of those listed.. a scan should pick up the playlists. There is no auto scanning on by default (except for the very first startup). The scanner section has some auto scan options
2)Prefs -> Queue -> On Queue Completion -> Play next file. I thought it made it automatically go to the next file if the queue is only 1 song large and on queue completion is set to stop (the default)... but its not working for me so i must have broke it
3) There is nothing like that but I would assume there are some 3rd party apps that can do that and control most music players

Thanks for the quick response.
1. WMP automatically synchs to device as .pla, which I guess GMMP doesnt recognize. Do you have any idea id there is any way to change the format of WMP auto synch?
2. So it sounds like this is not working right now?

1) You should be able to save playlists to m3u or wpl. WMP most likely will sync over the playlist file in whatever format you have it saved as. I will have to look into implementing PLA support
2) No it works if you change that setting. I thought I had it so you didnt need to change that setting but i guess that part isnt working.

okay so i looked into it.. if you do not touch the "On Queue Completion settting", by default.. when the queue consists of one song.. it will move on to the next file after it is finished.. if that setting is changed or the queue contains more than 1 song.. it will do whatever you have On Queue Completion set to
