One thing I'd really like to see would be the option to enqueue a random album. I'm already (very happily) using the 'Play random album' gesture on the Now Playing screen - but many times I've got a moment to fiddle with the phone, realize that I've got one track left in my queue, and want to pick a random album to play next - but still want to listen to what's left of my queue first.
Not sure what the best way to access it would be - it certainly _could_ be another gesture action from Now Playing.
(Thanks for writing a great player! Gapless + the option of using Album Artist are the big selling points for me!)

that would definitely be useful.. trying to think of the best way to do it. Gestures actions are always a valid option.
I could make the long press of the shuffle button to be either enqueue or play random album.. right now it just plays a random album (its one of the hidden gems that isnt really documented)

on a related note, do you use the On Queue Completion? I set that to play random album.. so if a queue happens to finish before i can enqueue something else it will just play something random.

I had no idea that feature was there! I'll have to try that, sounds like it would solve what I want. Good tip about the long press of the shuffle button. If I was designing it, I'd probably default to having the long press of the shuffle pop a "context menu" to choose from some options (different shuffle modes, play random album, enqueue random album, etc), and include a preference to have it always take a certain action. But there may be a reason that I don't do much UI design...
