I am using a music manager named MusicBee, which has the ability to set multiple genres for a single song. When I open the songs inside of GoneMad, the genres are all concatenated. For instance, I set a song to have these genres: "Industrial; Industrial Metal; Industrial Rock;". In GoneMad they show up under the genre "Industrial Industrial Metal Industrial Rock".
I opened the file with a hex viewer, to see exactly what is getting stored in the tag, and this is the text: "Industrial.Industrial Metal.Industrial Rock", minus the quotes. The hex value for that is: "49 6E 64 75 73 74 72 69 61 6C 00 49 6E 64 75 73 74 72 69 61 6C 20 4D 65 74 61 6C 00 49 6E 64 75 73 74 72 69 61 6C 20 52 6F 63 6B", again minus the quotes.

yea i've gotten a few requests for multi genre support. It's a long way off unfortunately as the gmmp database is designed for only one genre per song so the db have to be restructured (i had planned ahead for multiple artists, but not genres)
As for what gmmp shows.. im not doing anything special for genres so it is just showing what taglib (http://taglib.github.com/) reads from the file. Most likely its reading in each genre and then concatenating them all into one string
