I recently upgraded to 4.2.2 and now GMMP will scan my music and add it to the libary, update the db stats, show album art. But when I go to play music, it acts like it doesn't see it and skip to next song till the end of the playlist. Other players can play the music back fine. Any suggestions?

are you running a custom rom? There is a bug with some 4.2.2 roms where opensl returns an invalid sample rate. That sample rate is used for playback. GMMP does read in the sample rate correctly from the file, but right now if the decoder returns something different is uses that.
If your music is mp3s just go into the settings.. audio -> playback -> uncheck enable opensl (i think thats where it is)
if your music is m4a you will have to wait until the next update. OpenSL (the main audio library provided by google) has proven to be too unreliable so i have to change it to not rely on opensl for any of the song info

I am running the latest Liquid Smooth rom and mp3 is my primary format. Unchecking opensl worked.
Thanks.
