I'm not sure if this is a bug, expected behaviour, or user incompetence. I would like to be able to plug my headset into my phone, click the remote, and have GMMP resume playing. I would also like to be able to pause music with my headset remote - like, for example, when I stop to talk to someone - and be able to resume playback a little later. At the moment, GMMP doesn't do any of these things and I'm not sure why. The high priority receiver is set, as is Enable Headset/Remote. Is there another setting that I need to change? I'm pretty sure it's not a hardware issue as another player I have manages this fairly easily. I'm a big fan of GMMP, so I'm not particularly interested in using that player though!
I am using a Samsung Infuse running JB 4.2.1. I recently went back to stock GB (2.3.6) to see if that made a difference (it did not).

the gmmp music service needs to be running to respond to remote control options.. so assuming you started it once it should respond to wired remote commands (unless for some reason the service was killed due to lack of memory)
