Enable Multiple Modifiers

I'm new around here, so let me know if I'm just missing something. I currently have the "Use Sort Tags" modifier enabled, which is working well other than one exception. For some reason, all of my bands beginning with "The" are being sorted under T, since they have "the" at the beginning of their name, despite the fact that I have them tagged to sort differently (my sort tags are working for every other artist, not sure why it isn't in this case). I know, of course, this is what the "Ignore Prefixes" modifier is for and when I have that enabled, they are sorted correctly, but then my sort tags are not being used for every other artist I have. My request is for the possibility to use both modifiers simultaneously.

use sort tags will sort by whatever is in your sort tags... if no sort tag it will use the non sort tag version of the field (so album instead of album sort)

If your stuff is not sorting correctly than either your sort tags are not correct like you think they are, or perhaps the database is out of sync (if you modified the sort tags outside of the app once they were added to the library im not too sure if they update properly). Recommend deleting the database and rescanning
