Since i download songs with a 16:9 thumbnail i liked when i could see the whole thing before the new update. The new update made the embedded song art a 1:1 image like every other music player ive used. A toggle for the old 16:9 view would be nice.

No plans on changing this. download art thats 1:1 like pretty much all album covers are
Allowing the odd aspect ratios ended up poor UX for the majority of users. The change was intentional
Edit: unfortunately it's not something I can easily make configurable. Sorry

i did manage to find a way to allow any aspect ratio while keeping the current layouts. I will make it an option in the customize menu
