New User to GoneMad and just bought it.
I am copying Music from my PC to my Android Phone SD Card.
All the files have Artwork embedded. (They are all JPG and set as COVER in the Audio File)
The size differs from 400px x 400px, 600px x 600px to 1000px x 1000px. The format of the Audio files differ from MP3 (128 - 320), M4A
And NONE of the Artwork is showing, when going into a Song and click Artwork it only shows the Artwork it downloads from the Internet (which is NO good in most cases (Read: I don't like it) )
Also if going into Tag Editor, the album art is also not showing.
I have selected in settings Artwork - Album Art - Prefer Embedded Art
Please any guidance in this. I rather NOT want my SD card to fill up with Artwork (I don't like) as it is already embedded in the Audio File.

Update:
As soon as I place artwork in the same directory as the Audio it picks it up. But it doesn't read the artwork in the file.
Ps: The artwork I placed in the Dir is the SAME size and PX as the one in the Audio TAG.

Are you sure these are being saved with the artwork truly embedded? I use mp3tag and can confirm GMMP works as expected and does not require any separate cover files to be kept in the directories.

I am just switching over from iPhone to Android and just noticing this behavior only when the actual cover is IN the same folder as the audio file it shows, so that would mean I have to go through my whole library and extract all the Images. Not a big issue with an Action Group in Mp3tag, but the issue is the storage it takes up on the SD card and that I wish to prevent.
Ps: Also there is ONLY 1 image embedded (only front cover), and to proof that the cover is embedded here a screenshot of one of the files I am using for testing
Mp3 128 Kbps and Image 800x800px

turn on the prefer embedded art setting can you manually select the embedded art in gmmp? Also showing a screen shot of a PC showing the art is not exactly valid proof in many cases. I've seen many cases where files are fine on the users PC and then data is stripped from it by the method they used to transfer to the phone gonemadmusicplayer.blogspot.com/p/artwork-priorities.html

Thx, but I have already activated that setting as stated in my OP
And I already checked that the artwork is in the File, by copying the Audio file back to my PC and checking those file.
I just have approx 6-10 files I am trying with, because I just switch to Android and want to move my whole Lib (9k songs) over to my new phone so by testing I am running into this issue.

I think I have solved it (knock on wood)
Uninstalled GoneMad and removed the GMMP directory from the Internal Storage, changed the Prefer Embedded Art setting, added (manually via Total Commander F5) an Mp3 Audio File (which has album art which I manually added) to the Scan Path (Folders - Edit Scan Path) (which is my SD Card) and started GoneMad did a scan (via Scanner - Start Scan) and the Album Art showed)
Ps: I made 100% sure that there wasn't a JPG in the folder with the MP3.

Good to know it is now working for you. It what has changed to get it working? Perhaps in your earlier instance you had scanned these files without the checkbox to prefer the embedded art checked? If GMMP had already added its own artwork these would become the priority.

Thx,
That could be it but NO artwork was visible (just where the Cover should be, an image with I presume the initials of the Artist)
