Clicking Previous Screen to Browse Current Artist

Hi,

This seems way harder to explain that it should be but I'll give it my best shot. 

I open GMMP--> Browse to an Artist--> Browse that Artist's Albums--> Choose an album and listen to it. Simple enough. While listening to that album, if I were to go back a screen it would land me on the Artist's albums again, which is what I want. If I hit back again once more I would end up on the Artist. Makes sense, right? I'm just navigating backwards. 

But if I haven't used GMMP for x amount of time, when I go to the Now Playing track and click back, it doesn't go to that Artist or Artist's albums. Then I have to browse for the Artist and / or Album again. I know it's nit-picky but I have waaaaaaaay too much music on my phone stored locally and searching for artists is annoying. Is there any way to get TO an Artist's catalogue from the Now Playing Screen? Like is anything clickable that would bring you to that Artist? 

I hope this makes sense.

Set up a gesture to go to artist and another one to go to album. That's what I did.

Huh. I'll give that a shot. Thanks a lot. I haven't messed with gestures or anything with GMMP. I just use the swipe back on my Pixel to go to the previous screen.

long press on album art in now playing brings up a "jump to" dialog to jump to the playing album, artist, etc
