I'd like to delete all the songs/files in a smart playlist. I see that you can select each song one by one and then click the 3 dots and delete, but I'd like to delete 100's of songs in a smart playlist so that would be tedious. So can I either select all the songs in a smart playlist to delete them or just directly delete all the songs in a smart playlist? Sorry if this is obvious, but I tried a few things and nothing worked and I tried searching here too. TIA.

This is pretty standard on android Yeah I think I'm doing that, but as I mentioned, I have 100's of songs, so do I have to select them one by one after clicking one? In google photos, after selecting one, you can click and drag and select multiple files quickly, but it didn't seem like I could do that in GMMP.

Google employs thousands of developers so the yare able to build custom solutions for stuff like that in their apps

@gonemad, would it be possible to add a "select all" button in a smart playlist?

@gonemad, would it be possible to add a "select all" button in a smart playlist? If this is a Smart playlist, what is the purpose of manually selecting and deleting songs? Add an extra filter to remove these with logic. That’s the whole point of a Smart playlist.

I want to delete all the songs/files from my phone in a smart playlist, not just remove them from the smart playlist.

I started looking at other players and shockingly few have smart playlists so thanks for having that!
