No albumart, and I don't know why

Hello,

Most of my mp3 contain albumart and apart of that there's an folder.jpg and a front.jpg in every directory where I have albumart.
Yesterday I copied all my MP3 on a new MicroSD-Card (extfat). This card is know in my Samsung S6lite and the database has been build.
gonemad should be showing a cover for nearly all songs, but it does only very rarely. Example of a song without albumart in gonemad:

Most astonishing for me: I have the same MP3 in my Phone and there the cover is shown by the same version of gonemad.

Looking more closely, it seems, that albumart is only shown for songs which are in a sampler-directory. Example for a song with albumart shown:

Yes, I can manually select art and the program presents all the JPGs in the folder and also all the embedded files in every song.
I did an art only scan, but this changed nothing.
Maybe this is of some help and you overlooked it from my very long first posting:

After nearly a day, now the albumart is present. Don't know if it was the art only scan I initiated some hours ago. Or maybe the initial scan needed some time for the ~540GB of my collection?

540gb is likely going grk run into the issue where the scanners 10 min time limit expired and the OS kills and restarts it, so yeah likely it was just taking a really long time to fully finish the scan (or it was killed b4 the artwork potion)

The manually art scan likely got everything going again.

I'm having a similar issue, but I only have 10 GB of music on my phone so I doubt library size is the issue. For example I have an mp3 file that shows the artwork in Musicbee and in Windows Explorer on my computer. After transferring it to my S22, if I search in My Files, I see the artwork on the mp3 file and the album folder has the artwork as a jpg file as well. PrayerPro Music also displays the artwork, but GoneMad doesn't display it. Any idea why?

Edit, nevermind.  I deleted the scan folder, cleaned and deleted the database, then added the folder back and now album artwork is fixed.  Guess something happened during the first scan I did.
