Why are they different and how do I get them in sync? Where is Gone Mad getting this comment from? I tried clearing out the comment in Windows, which was blank, and that didn't work either.

Comment is read straight from the tag's comment field
Gmmp does not handle syncing files from other locations

View AttachmentThe file on your android device. Musicbee and windows explorer are on a PC and not looking at the same files gmmp is reading. Whatever you are using to sync / transfer to your android is likely modifying the tags

View AttachmentCheck the content in a metadata editor. I recommend mp3tag. You may find there are different tag version with comments. APE, id3v1, id3v2 - different software can read each of these.

Whatever you are using to sync / transfer to your android is likely modifying the tags It was the same file. I just used Windows Explorer to transfer it to my S22.

Thanks for the recommendation! View AttachmentIf you look at the top of the list box, you can see that this particular file has 3 different tag types written to it. Different players will prioritize which they display. So this will cause you to see the different results. Not a function of GMMP, but I suggest that you look into using mp3tag to clean up those files so your tags are more consistent.

I think the read priority is ape, id3v2, then id3v1
