TV Shows are fine. Might have to do with the lack of passthrough audio with whatever player is being used? Is there any way to fix this or allow a different player?

in the settings uncheck force direct play and then click supported formats and uncheck any format that you get no audio with
android is awful reporting the codecs it supports, so thats i added the ability to manually disable them. If the format is disabled it'll force transcoding
QuasiTV / exoplayer supports passthrough

Every single one of them are checked yet it doesn't play audio on a lot of my films. It acts as though there is no audio stream when I click the button to show the audio. I am currently running a Chromecast with Google TV.

UNcheck whatever formats you are playing that arent playing audio, because your setup clearly cannot playback the audio via direct play "in the settings uncheck force direct play and then click supported formats and uncheck any format that you get no audio with"

That seems to have fixed the issue. Is there any downsides to unchecking them all?

server will transcode to an audio format that all android devices support, which as of right now only does whatever the primary audio language is (im not sure how the server decides). So downside would be if you wanted to listen to the audio in a different language, that wouldnt be possible
