My player recently messed up the metadata. Haven't changed anything. I have the current artist playing and then I have the next artist to play. Now it shows the current song playing for both. I force closed the app, restarted my phone, and also deleted all those metatags and reentered them. Same thing is happening. Still shows the same song for %ar% and %nar%, but the actual next song plays when I play the next song

So now after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Before, it didn't matter what tab I was in, the back button used to take me back to the now playing screen. Now, it just exits the app. So now, my now playing gestures will work on the middle of the screen (left, right, up and down gestures), to switch the tabs I swipe on the edge of the screen Don't know what happened, but would love it to go back the way I had it. I'm unable to figure this out!

I tried with it disabled and enabled. That works just fine. It does double back to exit the app, but there's no setting for the back key to take me back to the now playing screen, like it always had before. For instance, when I'm in one of the tabs on the far right and I hit my back key, it just exits the app from there without going back to now playing screen. Been using this player for years, it's always gone back to now playing. On another note, correct me if I'm wrong but weren't we able to move the tab section (playlists, artists, songs etc.) From the top to the bottom? Don't see that option anymore.

You likely set your starting screen as now playing. There has never been anything in the code base that jumps to now playing on the back button.

In gonemad classic you could. You cannot move the tab bar in 3.x

Slinky So for this; Settings>UI>Starting View - choose Now Playing If you start here, then go to any other view/library/tab, then using back naturally will get you here prior to exit. That is what I have set, so makes sense why I was getting this to work.

I'm using a new android phone, used it for like 2 weeks until this change happened. Maybe it's actually a phone setting and not a gone bad setting.
