Hi it's me again with another idea.
For a couple of reasons I need to export smart playlists into static playlists that I transfer to other devices from time to time. It'd be nice if there would be a setting such that GoneMad would automatically save an up to date copy (as m3u/m3u8) of each smart playlist as soon as it changes.

Smart playlists by their nature are constantly changing. Most will change every time they are opened

So you think the frequency would be to high I guess.
What about a button that exports them (may also be included in the settings backup)? Or something that could be triggered with Tasker

Or something that could be triggered with Tasker On the 3-dot menu beside the Smart playlist name, Enqueue the whole list. Open the Queue and Save it as a new Playlist.

MotleyGord Thanks. Indeed, that's what I am doing right now. However it get's quite annoying when you do this for a couple of playlists on a regular basis. That's where my wish to have a 1-click solution comes from

this is a very niche request, no plans on adding any auto exporting. My time is best spent working on features that benefit the app, not for leveraging the use of gmmp's smart playlists outside of the app
