For any files that have more than one Album cover image, is there a way to have some method through buttons or gestures to scroll through them on the Now Playing view?

gmmp only supports a single image to be associated with an album. The album art selector should list all of the images it finds in the tags.. i think

The album art selector should list all of the images it finds in the tags.. i think OK, so it sounds like even the cover art is imported to the db during the initial scan. And I guess there is no way to fetch any additional embedded images, even if just when that files is actually playing? I have a bunch of albums with alternate covers, and even back covers, that are embedded but GMMP only shows the first one. It would be nice to be able to see these, but understand that there is a limit to what can be achieved.

The prefer embedded setting will just grab the front cover from the embedded tags (or the first ones it finds if none are labeled front). I do not have any plans to allow viewing multiple covers for an album besides in the album art selection UI (which it already does)

I too have many album folders with both front and rear covers with the occasional pdf booklet that came with the album. I do not embed covers in the tracks, I use Folder.jpg & Rear.jpg in each album folder. When you've got 24,000+ tracks spread across 1,700+ albums embedded artwork in the tracks is a waste of storage space. Perhaps a long press option menu item to view artwork / text files / PDF's in the current folder would be a very nice addition.

I only get a handful of hours a week to do android dev (split among multiple projects) and a massive backlog of feature requests already on trello trello.com/b/JCyp2kas/gonemad-music-player-development I am just trying to be realistic instead of getting peoples hopes up

If was something that could have been implemented without any redesign then great. But since that isn’t the case I’m not worried about it.
