Hi I have a number of Japanese songs on the app. The text just shows up as a series of '?'s. Can you add support for this kind of text? I love the app. Keep up the good work.

only UTF8/Unicode and ascii are supported. Japanese characters are supported in utf8/unicode, so you will need to change your text encoding to that.
id3 tags do NOT support non standard tags. UTF8/unicode/ISO 8859-1(latin) only. There will not be support for anything else (feel free to update taglib to support others and i can adopt it (https://github.com/taglib/taglib). sorry

This is old but I have hundreds of Japanese songs and I can see the info with no issue. Lyrics also. The problem must lie on your end. |
