I'm using GMMP on my Fiio M6 which runs a heavily stripped down version of Android. I want to be able to move playlists off of the audio player and on to the computer from time to time, but it appears to be creating them in an emulated storage path. How can I convince GMMP to create them in the actual playlist folder? I'm at my wits end.

they get created by default into /storage/gmmp/playlists which is accessible via MTP or any file browser dont be fooled by seeing "emulated" in the file path. Its fairly normal for android to refer to the default storage as /storage/emulated/0/ which will point to the same location that shows up when y9ou connect your device to a computer and is the default view on any file manager app android.stackexchange.com/questions/205430/what-is-storage-emulated-0

I've dug around via the PC and the playlists are nowhere to be found.

I've dug around via the PC and the playlists are nowhere to be found. Can you see these playlists on the M6 directly, using a file manager or browser app? I have several created on my DAP (iBasso DX160) and these appear exactly where suggested above, in the root directory>GMMP>playlists. This root directory for my device is actually "/storage/emulated/0/gmmp/playlists/ xxx.m3u" and should be similar on most Android devices. The emulated name is common.

the gmmp folder is at the same level as the default Music folder
/storage/emulated/0/Music /storage/emulated/0/gmmp
