I've recently replaced my old SD card with a higher GB. However having done so I went to play music on my phone and there was no files in my player, it was totally empty. I had to create a folder at the start called music as there was no folder for that. All I had was Android>data media>com.amazon.mp3 obb>com.sec.android.app.samsungsapps
So I'm confused as to why it didn't fill my player with all my music. Am I missing somethingstupidly obvious? Knowing me, yes I am.

I had added everything to my sd card. But upon going to play there wasn't a single track in the APP. Or do you mean I'm going to have to remove the APP, add the music back to my sd card then reinstall the APP?

Or do you mean I'm going to have to remove the APP, add the music back to my sd card then reinstall the APP? This is a new card. So you will have to go to the scanner menu and delete the old location in "Edit Scan Paths", then add this new card. Android will look specifically at the name on the card, not just a simple location and folder. Once you have updated the scan path(s) run the "Start Scan" function and your library will update.

GMMP only auto detects storage devices on installation. Once installed any storage changes need to be manually done via the scanner settings
swapping the sdcard is going to change the path of the sdcard. Each sdcard has a diff ID (which is what is used for the folder they are mounted to)
