A decade or so ago I got GooglePlay so that I could upload albums I already own and listen to them via my phone or my desktop computer. I bought a few more albums via GooglePlay and added them to the library. Now GP (or GPM) has been replaced by YouTubeMusic and for many reasons I dislike it intensely**. I'm looking for a player to which I can move the music that I already own, and then download it back to my phone to play in the car [via Bluetooth connection] or to listen to with headphones from my phone. Gonemad has been suggested to me for this purpose. I'm strictly looking to manage the music I already own, mostly playing albums (as they are - I do not shuffle the contents). I'd also like to be able to download to the phone so I don't need a constant internet connection, while driving for example, in order to listen.
Have I come to the right place?
One more thing... It would also be nice if the process of transferring my uploaded or purchased music from YTM to my new music player is relatively easy, but I'll put up with a moderate amount of difficulty if the new player otherwise meets all my needs.
** The number one reason I am getting rid of YouTube music is that for some stupid reason it keeps removing downloads from my phone -- downloads of music that I have uploaded. It has just started doing this and it annoys the heck out of me.

You will need to have local files of all music on your phone. Either on the local drive, or on a micro SD card if your device supports it. Otherwise you will find this is one of the best solutions available today. And from a UI design, maybe the absolute best.

You would need a way to transfer your music to your device since gonemad does not do that, but you can use a regular USB connection or another syncing tool

I recommend making the change. I did it a few years ago and I've been so Satisfied with gone mad music. I have all my all my music collected on my windows Laptop. Is like a few people here, I use music Bee on my computer And it works nicely with gone mad music. But there are plenty of windows music players out there that probably would work. Good luck.
