I'm not sure if this is even possible, and it may be an unfixable Android-ism, but I would like to be able to select which devices Smart Resume applies to.
Here's my use case: I have Bluetooth headphones and speakers, and we recently purchased a treadmill which also has Bluetooth speakers. If I'm at my desk listening to music on my headphones and my wife goes to walk on the treadmill, audio playback switches to the treadmill's speakers. The only workaround I've found for this is to enable/disable Audio for the treadmill's BT connection whenever I go to do my own walk.
Basically I want to be able to keep audio from redirecting to the treadmill's speakers if it's already playing on my headphones or BT speakers

your phone is switching BT connections to the treadmill automatically? even while already connected to a BT device? That sounds like horrible design on the phone's/android's part
This sounds like its an issue with audio routing and nothing to do with Smart Resume. GMMP doesnt do its own audio routing.. the OS handles that. The smart resume is to just resume playback it was previously auto paused

Yup, that's exactly what happens. I have GMMP playing though my headphones or desktop BT speakers, my wife turns on the treadmill, and audio switches to the treadmill's speakers automatically.
The only workaround I've found is to disable audio in the treadmill BT settings on my phone when I finish a session and re-enable it when I start my next one.
Samsung Galaxy S10e, Android 11. I guess I just have to live with it.

could you unsync the device from the treadmill? Usuually with BT you have to establish and approve an initial connection. I'd imagine if you had the phone "forget" the device it couldnt auto connect and play

Well, I want to use the treadmill's speakers when I'm on the treadmill. So currently I enable/disable Audio for the treadmill's BT connection each time I use the treadmill, so that it isn't enabled when my wife uses the treadmill. Huge PITA.
