Was using poweramp but am now having issues with them as they seem to have intermittent casting problems. Using the trial 2.x version I have no issues, really hoping things are the same with the 3.x version and I can change players. Just need that ability to control cast device volume with the rocker. Will miss poweramp though =(
Tried using spotify but you can't even disable audio focus with them...

Search will most likely have to use whatever is set in the appropriate view (ie album search results use whatever is set on the album view), but i dont think that would bother anyone anyway Yeah this behaviour makes sense. For Artists and Album Artists it's working yet. When you click an Artist in the search you can see the titles with the pre set custom Metadata. Only for titles and files in search this is missing. I think you should couple these metadata fields with the appropriate fields of the "Title" view. And I'd really love to see the shuffle & clear queue button in the header of the queue again. It's rather annoying to open the dropdown menu everytime. Greets

not going to happen. not enough room with the queue details in the toolbar. remember not everyone has large displays Aaah you're right. Wouldnt it be a possibility to make them optional (as an option in the customize menu of the queue)? I'd guess most people got phones which are big enough for that anyway.

not easily. android's "built" in option to only show the if there is room doesnt seem to work with the queue details. I am not writing a bunch of code to save an extra press for 2 options that arent used very often by post people (and when they are used its like once every few hours). I am curious how often you are using clear and randomize so much that the extra button press becomes an annoyance. The queue gets cleared automatically when playing another selection

The queue gets cleared automatically when playing another selection I thought to disable them as standard and make an option in the "customize" section where the user can select to show them (so you wouldn't have to rely on androids built in option to detect if there's room). I mainly just miss them as they were present in 2.x. And I shuffle the queue rather often, but I don't really use the clear queue option (just mentioned it as it was present in 2.x as a button too)

I'm on 10a beta. Song info is not showing on my car's head unit. Song, album and artist are blank. I have a 2011 BMW if that matters

gmmp correctly uses the metadata over bluetooth apis (the broadcast metadata setting hasnt been used for BT by the OS since before android 4.0.. it just sends intents on what gmmp is doing). Something is either wrong with your device or your bluetooth receiver. android 8.0 or 9 (cant remember which) had issues with metadata over BT at the OS level on many devices

Is there some sort of buffer for album art in the UI? I am making changes in the GMMP library that appear properly in the Artist, Album Artist, and Album views in the browser that are not reflecting into the UI. The updates are showing in the stock player as well, so it looks like the update is being applied to the embedded file image. How can the cache be cleared if there is one?
