I have a Verizon LG G3 and it won't play through an OTG DAC (DragonFly). I've got tested OTG cables that work just fine on other Android devices. I've tried a variety of roms (rooted), both aosp and caf. The DAC lights up when plugged in but no sound when gmmp plays.
Before you point me to the standard OTG apps and checkers (I'm a geek), USB Audio Player Pro app plays to through the same cables / DAC just fine which leads me to believe it's some kind of driver issue.
USB Audio Player has generously 1/4 of the features of GMMP and I do not want to switch. Any experience with this condition?

GMMP does not have any explicit OTG DAC capabilities. It is supposed to be handled by the android OS. It is in charge of routing the audio. GMMP publishes the processed audio to the same place whether its headset, speakers, bluetooth, or usb dac

This is the logcat error. Does it tell you anything?

Looks like it cannot open the device. Thats a bit lower level than anything gmmp touches. I'm just familiar with alsa from having a bunch of linux desktops at home
