Overwriting ratings with embedded ratings

Hi, first of all, thanks for your responsiveness and tips for previous issues. Right now I am struggling with an issue whereby certain tracka appear to have a default rating of non-0 and revert to that rating whenever rescanned even though the rating has been set in gmmps separate rating database. Is there a way to prevent this behavior or do you know an editor that can erase embedded ratings in android or text edit the mp3 headers?

the only way that could happen is if you have "only scan new files" disabled in the scanner. With that disabled it is going to scan every file you have an update the db based on whats in the tags
