I have a a Galaxy Note 10.1 currently running GoneMad 1.5.0.5 and a Galaxy S5 running 1.6.5. I have the same set of files installed on both. The Galaxy Note works fine. The S5 always shows the first song of an album as Unknown then the other title songs are off by one. Also the time on the Unknown song is correct for the first song, but the other times are all listed as 0:00. Another observation. When connected via bluetooth to my car, the car displays properly. Only the phone screen is wrong. I have attached screen shots of both the tablet and the phone as well as the file contents of both devices. I believe I have the same preferences between the 2 devices, but its possible I missed something. Thank-you for looking into this. Ron

the tag reading code is identical on all devices (although comparing the same version of GMMP would probably be better.. i dont remember if i made any tag reading changes in 1.6.x), so the fact that it cannot read the time from the files means the data is most likely corrupt on your s5.. either reading from the sdcard/storage is bad or something happened when you copied the data over to the device

I have a hard time believing that it can read the time for the first song in every folder but not the rest due to read problems. It would be much more random then that I would think. I thought about updating my tablet to the latest to see if I have the issue. Is there a way to roll back the version on my S5? I could also try putting some files in the local directory to see if it is SD card related. Is there anything else I could try that could give you insight? Oh and like I said the data (i.e. title) being sent over bluetooth is correct so that means the correct data is being read from the files its just not being displayed properly. Ron

OK - I rescanned with delete database before scan checked and it seems happy now. Ron might have been some reading issues on the initial scan and like you found out, you have to either check delete or the option to rescan existing files in the db (dont recall the name offhand). The scanner by default only looks for new files and wont update existing ones (this is to speed up the scanning process)
