Clean database does not remove duplicate songs. Plus, I do not get more options from menu button.

Clean database does not remove duplicate songs. Plus, I do not get more options from menu button. prefs -> scanner -> open scanner -> edit scan paths -Clear all the paths listed there. -Select browse storage. -Select your music folder. -click add -click save. -Check delete database -Start Scan

I'm having the same issue as above. Only some songs are duplicated. I checked the scanner paths, cleared the application data and rescanned and still having the same issue. The Google Music player doesn't show duplicates.

The Google Music player doesn't show duplicates. if you delete the database and do not have duplicate paths lists in the scanner then you have multiple copies of songs on your sdcard. GMMP will scan hidden folders (ones that begin with a period) and i know other players dont do that.. you can send in the database if you want via the prefs and i can look at the paths that are stored

First off, WOW that was a fast response! I'll try to take a look through it and see if I find any duplication. I do mess around with editing .m3u's manually so I don't know if that may make a difference. Edit: I kinda wish there were a feature to see the file path of a song by long pressing on it...

I found the duplicates. I would explain what happened, but its too embarrassing. Thank you for the help and for making the best music player I've ever used.
