From time to time I have problems during music playback with the latest version 1.4.17 with my both BT-devices. The BT device is paired and connected, but sometimes I cannot hear any sound via device (another media player on hardware device is running fine with sound). When I have this issue the gonemadplayer is running - with more speed (a kind of jumping during the title), but withound sound. When I restart the app (incl. killing the app) sometimes the sound is up and running, but very often I must restart the whole hardware device (Archos 5) to fix this problem. I own two devices. Jabra3030 and Sony SBH50. The other issue is when I pause via SBH50 device, there is also the sound-issue after restarting the music. Is this a BT related problem or a software problem (I mean, the "fast forward" during playback is app related)? I did not tested this on my Archos 8 with the 1.5 beta.

Do you mean no sound plays and the seek bar runs through faster than normal.. its a device issue (probably on your receiver side).. GMMP really has no control over bluetooth playback. The majority of other players use the built in MediaPlayer class.. GMMP does the decoding itself and sends it through an AudioTrack developer.android.com/reference/android/media/AudioTrack.htmlAt this point its completely out of my hands.. the OS does everything at that point.. including routing the audio to wired headset, bluetooth, or speakers. Ages ago i saw that issue you mention with it appears to fast forward through the song.. this happened when the bluetooth music connection would disconnect but the actual bluetooth connection would stay up.. so what happens is the OS processes the audio immediately since its being routed to no where (BT is still connected so it cannot go to the speakers), and requests more audio from GMMP.. so it appears to fast forward through the song any sounds happening after pausing would be something with your DAC.. GMMP doesnt add any extra sound when pausing / playing

Yes, it seems this is the issue. Okay for your information regarding the behaviour.
With SBH50 I mean that the BT device does not restart the music playback (although the BT device handles the "pause" / "play" command and the gonemadplayer accepts this command too; but I can't hear anything until I press another button or do something other (app-restarting for example)). Maybe the Sony BT device is also the trouble maker in this case. With Jabra BT device it's running fine after press the pause / play button.

if you pause and then play will you hear it again? I recall that being my experience.. its like the OS couldnt switch where the audio was routed until it was paused again
you might want to look into the bluetooth resume delay setting (i think its called) and see if that helps

Yes, that's correct. I will test with other settings.
