Hello,
GMMP is the perfect MusicPlayer for me, I totally love it. Only thing I'm missing is UPnP support, definitely don't want to use another product just for that! According to your roadmap you're actually planning to implement that, are there any plans to do that soon? Would be so awesome :-) Thx for that great player anyway!

based on the rate of current development it will be a long time before upnp/dlna is looked at

Oh dear, that sounds a bit like not enough people getting your player to make it worth the development. What a shame, rest assured I do my best to promote it whereever I can (I get to recommend a lot in my daily business). Would be desasterous to stop or slow down on that fine software:(

Would be desasterous to stop or slow down on that fine software:( It has nothing to do with the popularity. Its a hobby for me and my free time has just been limited as of late (dont get me wrong I would love to work on GMMP full time but it just doesnt bring in enough money for me to even think about leaving my day job). Combine that with the amount of work needed for 1.5 and 2.0 being quite large (1.5 has required me to rewrite tons of UI code) and I just dont see any work being done for upnp for a long time. The day android dies is when I will stop development on gmmp, so there should never been any worries about me abandoning the project. Edit: Oh and thanks for recommending the app to others!

if you are streaming music TO something else via upnp/dlna.. there should be a bunch of options. Ive used bubbleupnp to make video files viewable on my network. I wouldnt be surprised if some of the file managers had that capability as well
