Loving the app, now that I have my initial hiccups worked out.
Is there any way to make a shortcut to a specific playlist? So that I could start the playlist with a single click, or add it to a lockscreen launcher button? I looked into doing it with the Tasker integration, but all that seems to be supported is display variables.
Thanks!

any file explorer app like solid explorer should let you create a shortcut to a playlist file. last time i tried GMMP worked with launching a m3u from a file browser and the shortcuts work in similar fashion

When I make a shortcut to a m3u playlist file GMMD is not popping up as an option to play the file... I get ES Music Player, SE Music Player, Music Visualizer, VLC and Google Play. How do I tell android Marshmellow that m3u should go to Gonemad?

its up to the file manager you used to create the shortcut to properly determine what to use to open the file. GMMP registers for .m3u files and all the audio intents
I cannot control what 3rd party apps do. I recommend using solid explorer, but i think es file manager has worked in the past as well
