I'm having two problems with playlists right now:
1. I'm trying to do a recently added smart playlist for my new music, but it just lists all the music I have. On the editor, I order by "Date Added" and "Newer Than 10 days". But when I run it, it just lists everything on my sd card.
2. Manual playlists disappear from memory. I can create a playlist and add songs, but it doesn't save them, they just disappear and have to do it again.
Thanks for any help you can give me...

1) Date added is when it was scanned into GMMP. if you've run a fresh scan or just recently installed the player.. every song is going to be newer than 10 days
2) A playlist isnt saved until you either back out of the playlist or manually hit menu - save. Playlist files are saved on to disk by default to gmmp/playlists

- So how can I make a recently added smart playlist? Doesn't GMMP scan the whole library again when I add new music? If that's the case, a playlist like that will never work.
- I tried saving the manual playlists both ways, backing out and through the menu - save, the playlist still disappears. This doesn't happen with any other music app I have...

This doesn't happen with any other music app I have... what you listed in your first post would work as a recently added. If you do a fresh install a recently added get automatically added and the only difference is its the last 14 days instead of 10. That only gets installed on new installs tho. The date added only gets set the first time the file is scanned into the gmmp db. Unless you are checking "delete database" in the scanner when running a scanner.. or reinstalling the app often.. the data added for a song will only get set the first time it is scanned in Did you change the playlist folder in the settings? If you did and its invalid the saves are going to fail.. otherwise check the error logs after trying to save.. it would show an error if it failed. Prefs -> General -> Error Logs
