Hi,
I will watch to my albums in alphabetical order. If I'm playing a song and the play screen is shown, how can I change to the album list and the location is the actually played album? If I touch on the album symbol, I always see the first album of the album list!
Greetings
Rainer

well the album list and artist list should stay where it was when you go back to it.. but i think you are talking about jumping straight to artist or album based off what is playing?
That is not added yet but I plan on putting it into the next big update (1.2)

I will do following:
I'm watching to my albums in alphabetical order. I see the Play screen. Then the playing of the album is finished. Now I will go back to the album list and start the play of the next album. Or I will cancel the playing of n album, go back to the album list and start playing the next album.
Greetings

the album list view should stay in the same spot as you left it. If i scroll down to the albums starting with the letter L, then click on now playing.. then go back to the albums.. the list is still positioned to the albums that start with L
now if the app is backed out of.. the album list does reset back to the top and maybe that is what you are referring to. I should probably see if i can fix that
If you typically listen to multiple albums back to back, you can just play one album, long press the next one and hit enqueue and it will automatically be added to the end of the active playlist. You could queue up a few albums so you wouldnt always have to go back to the album list

You could queue up a few albums so you wouldnt always have to go back to the album list The number of albums is increasing very fast. So I must often create new playlist. It's not a good idea for me.

active playlists do not have to be saved.. long press an album select play.. long press another album and select enqueue.. you now listen to those 2 back to back without having to go back to the album list

So I've something. If I do the followiging: - Scroll album list. fingertip on a album and then fingertip on the first track. Then I see the play screen. Fingertyp of the album symbol --> Jump to the top of the album list ---> fail - Scroll album list, long press the album and select play. fingertyp on the Play symbol and then fingertip on the album symbol. Jump to the actual position in the album list. ---> OK - Your proposal of the temporary playlist works fine. I have a feature request for this. Is it possible to delete all already played tracks from the list?
But, with the playlist I have one problem. I have used the locked screen view of the player. This view is frequently crashing. And after this crash the player has jumped to the bottom of the playlist. :-(
Greetings

Pressing the album symbol when you are already in the album library will reset you back to the top of the album list. This is how its designed. If you want to go back to your previous spot in the album list.. just click the back button. Pressing the album button while you are in the album library (it will say GMMP - Album Library on the top bar if you are still in it) resets everything. You can turn this off (Preferences -> Library -> Enable quick return), but that will just make the album button do nothing if you are already in the album library

yea i had thoughts of this feature.. it was something done in the pc version of winamp and i liked it
"But, with the playlist I have one problem. I have used the locked screen view of the player. This view is frequently crashing. And after this crash the player has jumped to the bottom of the playlist"
if you are getting crashes, be sure to send in crash reports otherwise there is no way for me to fix the issue. If the crashes randomly happen when changing tracks.. i have a fix for that coming today so be sure to keep up to date with the latest versions
