I would love the option to allow the seek forward/backward buttons to function as next/previous track when not currently playing anything or paused. Perhaps also to allow bindings to the headset buttons for long button press and a separate set of configurations for when audio is playing and when it is not. I've come from the iAudio X5L and have grown attached this kind of functionality.

My media player only has 6 physical buttons (volume up, volume down, rewind, pause/play, fastforward, power/suspend). I keep my media player in my inner jacket pocket and prefer to navigate everything by touch through my outer pocket so I don't need to unzip my jacket to look at the device. I have a Cowon Z2 and the built-in music player is just dreadful. I've tried a few alternatives like poweramp and neutron, but I find GoneMad to be the best music player for my needs. I just think it would be a convenient feature if I'm listening to an audiobook and want to rewind to a previous track. I'm open to alternative suggestions, as I'm been spending a lot of time trying to get the device just perfect.

I gotcha. Bindings for long presses of each button might do the trick
I"ll add it to my list
