I currently have problems with the metadata displaying correctly. It happened before also. I have the current song playing and the next song to play on my main screen. The problem is, for the current song and the next song it shows the same song. It'll keep playing the same song over and over again until I press the next button. So I have to manually change the track for it to play the next track. I've uninstalled, reinstalled. I've completely redone the metadata and still the same thing. Done those multiple times. Please help.

turn off repeat? whatever is in the queue is what will play next. The behavior after the queue is finished is defined by whatever the "on queue completion" setting is set to. Queue -> 3 dot menu in the top right, customize, on queue completion. Default is to stop.. so if its repeating you either turned on repeat or put on queue completion on loop queue
reinstalling nowadays does nothing because it typically restores all previous settings. If you truly want to reset anything go into your android settings -> apps (or something like that) -> select gonemad and choose clear cache / data. That will bring it back to a fresh install
edit: i just confirmed on a fresh install, with a single song in my queue.. it stops after its played

My queue is working fine. I go to my queue, and it shows all the next songs in order. Repeat is not on. I usually have everything in shuffle mode. The problem seems to be the metadata %nar%. Like I said, I have my metadata listed as %ar%, %tr%, %al%, %nar%, %nt%, and %nal%. But it actually displays the current info playing for both the current and the next track info. Then plays over and over until I hit the next track button on my device. Maybe I'll try that fresh install. Hopefully you get what I'm trying to explain.

I fixed the issue. Backed up my settings and data, cleared cashe and data to do fresh install. Uninstalled and reinstalled. It's now fixed. Weird that that occasionally happens.
