Even though the feature is turned off in the effects tab, I've started to notice a regular and constant shift in pitch in all of my library of music. What could be the issue?

something external manipulating the sound? If the setting is off then it is not being applied to the audio (by gmmp). There is also no independent pitch shifting, just pitch correcting when the tempo is adjusted
